Los Angeles-based artist-run and alternative arts spaces are invited to a community check-in and mixer. This is an opportunity to meet and connect with fellow peers from alternative cultural spaces and groups after an unprecedented and challenging pandemic year. The aim of this event is to create and strengthen networks between arts and cultural spaces of various sizes within our community - many of whom have gone through major transitions, such as moving locations, pausing in-person events, focusing on online programs, or reimagining their structures & programming. Participants can share resources/planning/info/insight on topics like re-opening plans, attending to audience needs, innovative approaches to gathering, and organizing public space going forward.
