ASSEMBLIES Spring 2019: Public Presentations

The Micro-Grant recipients are as follows:

(em)POWERing the rEVOLUTION: DIY Solar Power Technology, led by #SNATCHPOWER (Uhuru Moore and Jordi Phillips), received $1300.
Poetry and Experimental Writing Circle, led by Sophia Aira & Blue Soo Hoo, received $50.
Los Angeles Artist Census, ed by Tatiana Vahan, received $150.

The grant distribution was determined through a conversation and a careful review of the applications amongst the ASSEMBLIES leaders. The recipients and amounts were decided according to which groups were recognized through concensus as being the most deserving and in need of the funds to realize their projects.
