In a city as sprawling as Los Angeles, where feelings of disconnection and loneliness often overwhelm us all, NAVEL strives to be a site where all feel welcome to connect with one another, in person, through culture. That’s why we’ve submitted a proposal for a $100,000 grant to make Los Angeles the best place to connect by 2050. ⁣

Receiving this grant would allow us to: ⁣

• Fund our Public Programming for 2019 and 2020, keeping ticket prices as low (or free) as possible. ⁣
• Fund more Open Proposals received from the community. ⁣
• Expand the micro-grants available to ASSEMBLIES. ⁣
• Increase the resources and equipment available for our Collective Residents. ⁣
• Continue to pay our collaborators fairly, according to WAGE standards. ⁣
